Earl Shilton Camera Club is to hold its fourth Annual Exhibition of Photography at the Atkins Gallery, Hinckley from Monday 20th August. This year to coincide with the reopening of the refurbished Atkins Gallery, the exhibition will run for two weeks ending on Satuday 1st September. On display will be work from a majority of the clubs members.

Following success in many external competitions over recent years, Earl Shilton Camera Club is considered to demonstrate a high standard of photography.  However, the club prides it self in having members of varying ability and experience and the exhibition shows the results of the clubs structured programme to help all members.

The exhibition is free and will be open from Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am until 5.30 pm when someone will be available for advice and information.  On  Wednesday 29th August there will be a club evening starting at 7.30 pm when members of the public are invited to come along, view the exhibition and talk to members about the club and this interesting hobby.  This open evening event will also include various workshops where many aspects of taking and processing images will be demonstrated.

The exhibition is sponsored by Earl Shilton Town Council with the aid of a community grant.
